Overview
Meru is a savanna National Park made famous by the writings of Joy Adamson, Shaba is a low lying, semi arid plain with starkly beautiful landscape, Masai Mara has the highest concentration of game in Africa.
Day 1:
Nairobi – Meru National Park
Early in the morning transfer to Nairobi-Wilson airport for flight to Meru National Park. On arrival at Meru National Park you will be transferred to Elsa’s Kopje Camp for lunch with a game drive en- route. Elsa’s Kopje is almost invisible to the eye as you approach its home on Mughwango Hill in Meru National Park. It blends into the rocky crags of the ‘kopje’ (small hill), built very near to the site of George Adamson’s original campsite. After lunch, proceed for afternoon game drive till sunset. Dinner and Overnight at Elsa’s Kopje.
Day 2:
Meru Natinal Park tour
Spend the day with morning and afternoon game drives in the untamed wilderness, renowned for its rhino sightings and rare northern species. Full board accommodation at Elsa’s Kopje.
Day 3:
Meru Samburu, Shaba National Reserve.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight to Shaba National Reserve. From the airstrip transfer to Shaba Sarova Lodge for lunch with game drive en route. After lunch, you will have a late afternoon game drive in the Shaba national park til sunset. Day 4:
Samburu Safari
Spend the day with morning and afternoon game drives. You will have a chance to visit the Buffalo spring Reserve nearby for more game viewing and time in this northern germ.

Day 5:
Samburu – Masai Mara
After breakfast, you will have a transfer with game drive en route to the Shaba airstrip for your flight to Masai Mara National Reserve. On arrival in Masai Mara you will be transferred to ilkeliani Camp for lunch. ilkeliani Camp is a true oasis and a safari style camp with modern surprises. After lunch, proceed for afternoon game drive till sunset. The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna – lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures.

Day 6:
Masai Mara
After breakfast, proceed for morning game drive in the reserve returning to the camp for lunch. After lunch continue with afternoon game drive till sunset. Dinner and overnight at Ilkeliani Camp
Day 7:
Mara - Nairobi
Early morning game drive returning to the camp for breakfast. Later transfer to the airstrip for flight to Nairobi. On arrival at Wilson Airport, you will have a transfer to your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
