Day 1:
Arrival – Samburu National Reserve (Approximately 6 hours by road)
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our representative for a safari briefing before departing for Samburu National Reserve. The journey takes you through the scenic central
highlands, offering views of Mt. Kenya on a clear day.
Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon at leisure. At 1600hrs, embark on an evening game drive, exploring the unique wildlife of this semi-arid reserve. Samburu is home to rare
species such as the Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, and the graceful gerenuk, often seen standing on hind legs to browse.
Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 2:
Samburu National Reserve.
After an early breakfast, set off for a full-day exploration of Samburu National Reserve, a rugged and semi-arid wilderness known for its striking landscapes and rare wildlife species. The Ewaso Nyiro River, which flows through the park, is a vital water source that attracts an abundance of wildlife, providing excellent game-viewing opportunities. During the morning game drive, traverse the park’s open savannahs, acacia woodlands, and riverine forests in search of the famous Samburu Special Five—Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, gerenuk, and Somali ostrich—which are unique to this region. Other wildlife you might encounter includes elephants, lions, cheetahs, leopards, wild dogs, and an impressive variety of bird species.
At midday, return to the lodge for lunch and some leisure time, allowing you to unwind and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. You can take a refreshing dip in the lodge’s pool, observe wildlife at the nearby
waterholes, or simply relax on your private veranda while soaking in the breathtaking views of the African wilderness.
In the late afternoon, embark on another game drive, taking advantage of the cooler temperatures when wildlife becomes more active. As the golden hues of sunset cast over the plains, predators such as lions and
leopards begin their evening hunts, offering an exhilarating spectacle.
Return to the lodge for a delicious dinner and a night under the African sky, listening to the distant calls of wildlife.

Day 3:
Samburu – Lake Nakuru National Park (Approximately 5-6 hours by road)
After an early breakfast, bid farewell to Samburu and embark on a scenic drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, passing through the spectacular Great Rift Valley. Along the way, marvel at breathtaking landscapes, rolling hills, and small rural villages that showcase the diverse cultures of Kenya.
Upon arrival at Lake Nakuru, check in to your lodge and enjoy a hearty lunch before relaxing for a short while. The park, often referred to as a birdwatcher’s paradise, is famous for its large populations of
flamingos, which create a pink-hued spectacle along the shores of the alkaline lake.
At 1600hrs, set off for an afternoon game drive, exploring the diverse ecosystems ranging from dense woodlands and rocky cliffsto open grasslands and lake shores. Lake Nakuru is renowned as a rhino
sanctuary, home to both the endangered black and white rhinos, making it one of the best places in Africa to see these magnificent creatures up close. You will also have the chance to spot buffalo, Rothschild’s giraffes, waterbucks, zebras, baboons, and even elusive predators like leopards and lions.
As the sun sets, the golden light illuminates the landscape, creating a perfect backdrop for photography.
Return to the lodge for a sumptuous dinner, followed by a relaxing evening as you recount the day’s adventures.

Day 4:
Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara National Reserve (Approximately 5-6 hours by road)
After an early breakfast, bid farewell to Lake Nakuru National Park and embark on a scenic drive southwest towards the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. The journey takes you through the Great Rift
Valley, offering breathtaking views of rolling plains, scattered acacia trees, and small rural villages, providing a glimpse into Kenya’s countryside and local Maasai culture.
Arrive at Masai Mara in time for lunch at your lodge, where you can unwind and enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding savannah. After a short rest, set out on your first game drive in this legendary reserve, known for its high concentration of wildlife and abundant predators. As you traverse the open plains, keep your eyes peeled for the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino—as well as large herds of zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, and various antelope species. The Mara River, which runs through the reserve, is home to hippos and massive Nile crocodiles, and during the Great Migration (July–October), it becomes the dramatic scene of thousands of wildebeest crossing while avoiding lurking predators.
As the sun sets over the vast landscape, return to your lodge for a delicious dinner and an evening of relaxation, listening to the distant calls of wildlife under the African night sky.

Day 5&6:
Masai Mara National Reserve.
Wake up to the sounds of the African wilderness and prepare for two full days of adventure in the Masai Mara National Reserve, one of the most famous wildlife destinations in the world.
After an early breakfast, set out for unlimited game drives, exploring different areas of the vast savannah. With its rolling grasslands and scattered acacia trees, the Mara is home to an abundance of wildlife,
offering excellent opportunities to spot the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino—along with cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, hyenas, and a variety of antelope species.
During the Great Migration season (July–October), you may witness thousands of wildebeest and zebras crossing the Mara River, a dramatic event where predators such as crocodiles and big catstake advantage of the chaos. The reserve is also a birdwatcher’s paradise, with over 450 bird species, including the vibrant lilac-breasted roller and African fish eagle.
For those seeking a unique perspective, you have the optional experience of a hot air balloon safari at sunrise, offering breathtaking aerial views of the Mara’s golden plains and wildlife below. After landing, enjoy a champagne breakfast in the bush, an unforgettable highlight of your safari.

Day 7:
Masai Mara to Serengeti National Park(Approximately 6–7 hours by road, including
border formalities)
After an early breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, crossing into Tanzania via the Isebania border.
After completing border formalities, continue your journey through the vast, open landscapes as you make your way into the world-famous Serengeti National Park.
Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch en route, with breathtaking views of the savannah stretching endlessly before you. The journey itself offers wildlife sightings, as the Serengeti is home to an array of animals, including wildebeest, zebras, elephants, giraffes, and various predators like lions and cheetahs.
Upon arrival at your lodge in the late afternoon, settle in and unwind before embarking on a short evening game drive, taking in the park’s beauty as the sun sets over the golden plains. Serengeti’s landscapes are legendary, with rolling grasslands, rocky outcrops, and acacia-dotted horizons that define the classic African safari experience.

Day 8&9:
Serengeti National Park
Spend two unforgettable days exploring the endless plains of Serengeti National Park, renowned for its incredible wildlife and breathtaking landscapes.
Each day begins with an early morning game drive, the best time to witness predators in action as they hunt in the golden dawn light. The Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino—are frequently
spotted here, alongside vast herds of wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, and gazelles. The Serengeti is also home to large populations of cheetahs, hyenas, and jackals.
You will have the option to experience a hot air balloon safari, floating above the savannah at sunrise for a bird’s-eye view of the magnificent landscape and wildlife below. After the flight, enjoy a champagne bush
breakfast in the heart of the Serengeti (optional, at an additional cost).
During the day, enjoy an extended game drive with a picnic lunch in the wilderness or return to the lodge for a leisurely midday break. In the afternoon, you may opt for another game drive or visit a traditional
Maasai village, where you can interact with the Maasai people, learn about their customs, and experience their vibrant culture.

Day 10:
Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater.
After an early breakfast, bid farewell to the vast Serengeti as you embark on a scenic drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy an en route game drive, spotting
wildlife along the way as you traverse the endless plains, rolling hills, and acacia woodlands.
Arriving at the Ngorongoro Crater, descend 600 meters to the crater floor for an afternoon game drive in one of the most biodiverse wildlife havens in Africa. This natural amphitheater is home to an incredible
concentration of animals, including elephants, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, wildebeests, zebras, and the rare black rhino. The lush plains and soda lakes attract large flocks of flamingos and other bird species, creating
a stunning visual spectacle.
Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot within the crater, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and the sounds of the wild. After a fulfilling afternoon of game viewing, ascend back to the crater rim and check in
at your lodge, where you can relax and soak in panoramic views of this magnificent geological wonder.

Day 11:
Ngorongoro Crater to Amboseli National Park.
After an early breakfast, depart Ngorongoro and embark on a scenic drive towards the Kenya-Tanzania border at Namanga, with a picnic lunch along the way. Enjoy an en-route game drive as you leave the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, taking in the stunning views of rolling hills and open savannahs. Upon crossing into Kenya, continue your journey to Amboseli National Park, renowned for its majestic herds of elephants and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. Arrive at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge in the late afternoon. If time allows, you may opt for a short game drive to catch the park’s iconic scenery, with wildlife roaming against the backdrop of Kilimanjaro. Enjoy a delicious dinner at the lodge, followed by a relaxing evening as you take in the tranquil ambiance of the African wilderness.

Day 12:
Amboseli National Park to Nairobi.
Start your final day with an early morning game drive, the best time to spot Amboseli’s iconic elephants, big cats, and other wildlife as they roam beneath the stunning backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Capture
breathtaking photos as the morning sun illuminates Africa’s highest peak. Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast and some leisure time before enjoying an early lunch. Afterward, bid farewell to Amboseli and begin your scenic drive back to Nairobi. Arrive in Nairobi by late afternoon. Depending on your departure schedule, you will either be dropped off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight or transferred to your hotel if you are extending your stay in Kenya.
